Thanks, everyone.

I found out what the problem was and now RTS works.

I had followed a Youtube instruction that was incorrect.

I realized now that the youtube video instructed people to install the main kernel, and then install an older kernel on top of the first kernel(he probably meant to install the moonshell 2 add-on), hence breaking the RTS function.

Thanks for the help, everyone.

Where did you order it from? The seller might have "scammed" (not really, but I can't think of another word) you.

Solution was found, the cart is not fake, it was my mistake, RTS works.

And just want to add, the site I bought it from was very helpful and fast in replying to my queries.

With so many sites out there selling the same thing, what makes them different is the support. So I would recommend this site: http://dsflashcart.com/

I got it at: http://www.dsflashcart.com/r4i-gold-3ds-wood-r4i-3ds-flashcard-for-ds-dsi-3ds-p-248.html

They only ship out the RTS version, and that's what I got.
The RTS version is just a new label, it's no different from the version that says "3DS" on it. That looks like the right cart though, does it say r4ids.cn on your cartridge?
As long as patching is enabled in global options and for the individual game, you should be able to use soft reset, RTS, cheats, and all those things. If soft reset works and RTS doesn't then I'm not sure what's wrong, I don't own one myself so I can't be of more help than that, sorry.
RTS is still in beta though, you would be better off asking Yellow Wood Goblin about it directly since he made Wood R4.
