Hacking R4DS SDHC cheat help

Does sdhc version need another type of cheat file from the original r4ds? I loaded mine with the last cheat.dat but action replay is not showing on the card.

use USRCHEAT.DAT instead of CHEAT.DAT in the System Folder. that should help...Only problem I encountered is that I cannot edit the codes with the cheatcode editor.Each time I tried to open the USRCHEAT.DAT file,editor stops working..Anyone knows why ?

what i did with my friends R4SDHC is that i loaded up the CHEAT.DAT and removed the encryption.

That would be the UsrCheat.dat. Its a cheat.dat but without the encryption. You can find it at http://cheats.gbatemp.net

Thks Narin..did that and it worked..only thing is that some cheats don't show up. Can you advise?I have an old E7 & Chrono Trigger cheats shows up , on the R4DS SDHC v.1.24 'it dosen't...

use the CHEAT(UE).DAT it has the JAP cheats removed

R4 cards and their clones suffer issues when the cheat file is too large
