    Hi there GBATemp!
    I have a question.
Recently I purchased an 8gb Micro-SD card for my original R4DS.
Though it wouldn't work. But I was quite sure on the packing from my R4 stood "compatible with Micro-SD cards with up to 32GB of capacity.
I tried installing YSMenu 6.95 on the SD card, but no luck so far.
    Any help would be appreciated.

If it is an original R4, it will only accept SD, no SDHC.

A way to find if it is real or not is that the real one only works in a DS/Lite and not a DSi/XL.

It doesn't work on DSi, but the SDHC card does. So I guess the R4 is real. Guess I'll use the Micro SD card for other purposes then :P

If it doesn't work on DSi, then it is probably real, but not 100% certain.

Does R4 Wood (it's better than YSMenu anyway) work on it...?

Yes it does, I use it on my old 2GB Micro SD card.

    OK, it's real then.

The SDHC card definitely won't work then - you'll have to find another use for it...
