Hacking R43DS no cheats

I have a R43DS flashcard with newest moonshell which runs great on up to 10.5.
when i want to play soul silver (pokemon), only a few cheats show up. But when i edit my (latest) usrcheat.dat i See that i have loads of cheats Available, they just wont show up. Any suggestions in how to show them in the r4?

Maybe the kernel uses another place to store the cheats.
