Hacking R4 Wood cheats.

I recently found my old R4 card, and was delighted that it still worked! I updated the files to the R4 wood, and shortly after tried to figure out how to use cheats. The problem I have is, when I download the cheat file from File Trips, it doesn't work. There's no options for cheats, even after I turned them on in the cheats menu. Could someone help please? I'm hopelessly lost. D:

Make sure it's named usrcheat.dat, some of the downloads aren't compressed and so get renamed by filetrip.
