When I release my PS3 emu for the DS tomorrow a whole new era will emerge. 4D graphics in the palm of your hand. Additionally, it will compatible with all PS3 emulators. Think of it as an emulator within an emulator. So that means you can get X360, XB, N64, GC, NeoGeo, GBA... all in one machine. this is a retman wet dream.

While the DS is highly capable of handling graphics from the N64 era, you cannot deny the fact that emulating another system as simple as the SNES requires extra processing power from the already hardware-limited DS. The only reasonable plan of action from here is to code a brand new game from scratch specifically for the DS (such as Mario 64 DS and such).

why would it be my dream when i have a ps3, xbox 360, wii and HAD a N64 and GBA?

and i'm not intrested in old game consoles

hey, I don't think you should be all to mean to this guy... I got to stand up for him.
The search function has a limit... over 4 characters in a word.... then how should one search for r4 ? and n64? (sure, nintendo 64... but it would discard 64 and just list all topics with "nintendo" in it... yeah.,...)

That's how they did that with SNES-->GBA, redoing the code specifically for the hardware instead of trying to mimic the hardware. So you can't just pop in a N64 rom and play it on the DS, OP. Try again when the next handheld from Nintendo comes out!

side note thing: What approach does PSP take with PS1 games?

Nno itts nott REally Possible??!!! Wherre DIdd yOuu hearr that lollz!?!!!

@thaigrocer - The PSP actually does emulate the PS1. The games are just standard PS1 .iso disk images inside an EBOOT file.
