Hacking R4 Stuck in Loading

My brothers R4 is stuck in the loading screen *when you first boot up the R4*
It is not the microsd card because I inserted his sd card on my R4 and it worked fine.
I need help on the steps I should take.

If you had an R4 for a while and the loading screen stops more frequently, it usually means the microSD slot contacts are basically wearing out. To fix this is to take out the microSD and put it back in. Then put flashcart back in the DS and turn it back on.

Does your brother have the same kind R4 as you? Different types of clone R4's use different firmwares.

I've tried that so many times still doesn't work.

We have the same kind the real one.

1. Make sure you actually have the R4 firmware on the microSD card.
2. One solution might be to open up the R4 and give the contacts a good rub with a pencil eraser, perhaps one of the pins is not contacting properly.

Yea it has the original firmware.

When you refer to contacts do you mean the bottom part of the microsd card slot. I have opened it up and tried cleaning it with a brush-like object. Is an eraser better or the same?
