hi i have a R4 with a 2GB and i want to buy a 8GB but i dont know if it the 8GB will work and i have a R4 DS not a SDHC

not if u havnt got a r4ds that supports sdhc. the max you can have is 2gb

If it's a genuine R4 then SDHC will NOT work.

Just bought my niece and nephew R4s and a SDHC enabled R4-III for myself. Ditto what the 2 posters above me said.
