Hacking R4 help needed. (x) cheats button disapeard.

I would like to apologize if this is in the wrong place.

I in kind of in need of help and joined and made this tread specifically because i cannot find any answers in how to fix a certain problem i have with my (original) R4 card.
please note that i am not very tech savy so please don't get annoyed if i do not understand certain things.

I recently updated and added cheats to my R4 wood
it worked perfectly fine until i found a more recent usrcheat.dat and updated it.
But after when i tried to turn on the cheats suddenly the (X) button no longer appeared at all.

like its gone. it does not exist in anyway or form.

this has never happend before so i went hunting for answers.

I did the regular " Cheats(ar) On thing, the " Cheats = 1" in global settings thing, i formatted my card with he help of SDFormater with the Full overwrite mode on, i used R4cce to make sure that the file had unencrypted checked.
i also tried reinstalling r4wood again
i have also tried using a different usrcheat.dat and even tried using the one that worked before everything just went kaput.

I wouldn't have posted here if i didn't spend a while looking and trying to fix this.

Please help me. >-<;

Put the MicroSD in the computer and take a screenshot of the folder that the cheat database is in?

I can do more then that I can also give you pictures of what it looks like on my screen when i try to get it to work and my global settings in case its something in there

turn on your file extensions to see if it name 100% right

everyone should have show file extensions on

Considering how much trouble i had finding this info while looking around for help, i hope people with similar problems can find this topic
