hI i KEEP GETTING ROM LOADING FAILED LOAD ROM ERRCODE=-4 PLEASE RESET SYSTEM anyone got any ideas thanks

if you keep with that error you can do two things depending on you

1- get a better flashcart, some one that wont give you headches anymore
2-buy the games, only if you have the money of course
3-sell your DS and buy a PSP, if you have a R4 and you think its a good flashcart you need a little change... and quick
4-visit google, maybe there can be your answer
5-keep creating more solutions yourself, i got tired of it

Did you try reformatting your microsd card and starting from scratch?

Also does the error occur when you start your R4 or when you start your game?

If you are getting that error when you start your R4, what are the files/folders in your root directory of the microsd?

when you go to load the game to play, its in a game folder on mico sd card not tried reformatting as others all work on card

It's becoming an increasingly common error with new games. It means the ROM is not compatible with the firmware.

Your options:

• Wait for a firmware update that probably won't come
• Wait for a game patch that probably won't come unless the game won't load on ALL flashcarts
• Learn hacking and fix the game yourself
• Buy a flashcart that receives regular updates
• Buy a retail copy of any game that won't load

Even though YSMenu gave the R4 two extra years of life it now seems that the R4 has finally become obsolete. No one cares enough to fix games when you can get better flashcarts so cheaply.

My recommendation would be the CycloDS or the acekard 2i (the CycloDS will not work on the DSi tho)

When I started to get tired of waiting for R4/DSTT/YSMenu fixes I bought an AceKard2i and haven't regretted it yet. It's cheap and if using AKAIO is usually the first cart to receive fixes for problematic games.

im with you im buying an acekard2i when i get paid the only time my ds has came out the drawer in the last month was to try the constant useless fixes that kept on appearing on this site . the r4 and dstt are dead lets move on . no one should buy either of them .
