Hacking R4 DS skins

Whoa, nice skin. Too bad I don't have Photoshop.Â

Every PC comes with MS-Paint, if all you’re doing is replacing one picture
with another or changing the word R4 to M3, MS-Paint will do the job just
fine. What you guys are asking Mflo to modify my 10 year old sister can do.

EDIT: done. Sorry for the bad quality of the preview, but mavisxp complained the original one was too big, so I increased the compression slider... maybe too much...

Here's mine, I called it "Simply Revolutionary". I haven't looked through everybody else's, so I hope the name isn't already taken.

Despite only one color being shown in the preview, the skin comes in 9 colors, all included in the zip:
*Banana Yellow
*Blood Red
*Deep Sea Blue
*Default Blue - (the one shown in the preview)
*Firey Orange
*Grass Green
*Pricey Gold
*Retro Gray
*Seafoam Green

Well, here's my first attempt at a skin for the R4DS (got one Monday). Still a work in progress, but I thought I'd get some feedback before I submit it to Mavis' site.

Like most skins, the bckgrd_2.bmp looks a little retarded without the UI elements layer on top but, you get the idea.

things i like: melting R4 with 24 & background of the topscreen (looks "official")
things i dont like: "revolution for ds" & "the countdown has begun" seem outa place somehow; the iconset looks too retro (nes-controller and ds-phat)
-> maybe you could bring some CTU-badges or something to the second background as well

really nice approach though

Yeah, it's my first skin, and it's a One Piece Skin. I only have MS Paint, so sue me.

Very nice zone97, I like that you’re mixing things up & coming out with some new
looks. We have already got too many Anim & game theme skins, so the more selection
the better. Although buy having R4 on your skin your leaving out all the simply, users
always better to just have something everyone can use, unless R4 or Simply is paying you
