Just got my R4 today from Gamyeeehhhh or whatever.

Very impressed with it, seems like the perfect slot 1 solution.

Bought mine from gamersection.ca . Still isn't here, but FedEx figures it'll be here tomorrow. Hoping it shows up today yet though.

Maybe they should use regular, old fashioned CanadaPost, since I ordered my DS Lite from Futureshop on the same day and it's here already, waiting patiently.

just got mine a few hours ago. loving this thing. great card all around so far.. no complaints yet!. got it from modchipstore.com for like 45 bucks. 1gig card for 45. though the card they advertised was a kingston. I recieved an A data. I dont want to wait to use it so I just took the A data. buyer beware when it comes to the flash cards I suppose. everything else though was super fast. amazing shiping speed.

i'm very tempted to get an r4 ds.. but i will continue to hold out for the newer cards which will probably have more/better features such as perfect download play and maybe gba support (bundled slot 2 card?). i really don't feel like buying a card and then wanting to buy a better one later. i'll hold out a bit longer, but i might cave and get one if the newer stuff doesn't come out soon

have i said hi here? well, i owned it a few days ago and am pretty happy, just that i cannot find the _system_ folder n am tripping with the movie conversion. otherwise.... ds gameplay is uber good!!!

Well as the starter of this thread I’m happy to say I finally got mine!

It would have been here a week sooner if not for bamboo’s down time.

I got home yesterday to find a slip in the mail box saying it was at the post office, too bad the post office was closed.

I spent all last night reading the forums and downloading skins, I burnt all the software and a few *cough* backups on to a cd then went to bed, this morning I picked my r4 up from the post office on the way to work.

It took me literally 3 minutes to copy the firmware and *cough* backups on to my micro sd card with the supplied card reader (yay it worked fine!) while I was having my morning coffee at work.

I had a quick play at lunch and I was very impressed, every thing worked fine, I spent the rest of the day itching to go have and give it a proper playing with.

So I have been at home for about 5 hours just playing, dam its sweet. =)

I was looking forward to getting my r4 more then I used to look forward to Christmas when I as 5.

O.K, so I found out my item from gameyeeeah was delivered to some mystery person on January 9th...now i'm really pissed!

Found out they delivered my package next door, to which the neighbours replied they never received anything. After specifying their name that signed for the package, they got scared and I finally got my stuff. I'm pretty sure they never intended to give it to me :-/

But i'm happy I finally got it *phew*

I thought the same as you a few weeks back and was waiting for the supercard slot 1 and m3 simple to come out. I heard their was problems with the supercard slot 1 so I waited for the m3 simple. Everyone seemed to be buying the R4 so I thought it was time to jump on the bandwagon. Its a great card to own, can't see a better card being released. Download play seems to have problems on all the slot 1 cards. Being able to play the GBA and its dozen or so good games is no big deal to me.

and after a little debate i caved and bought one from mod-chip.com (seems like the fastest/cheapest place for US orders)

My R4 came in today! So far its been perfect. Only 1 game that isn't working for me but i am going to see if another rom works (thus my current one is a bad file).
