so my r4 crapped out on me, first it made that funny spring-thing then a mate wanted to repair it.
now it does not load anymore. but he is going to replace it with a flashkit of my choice.

should i buy another r4, or go for one of the newer kinds?

im kind of a power user, if a device has a feature i MUST use it

im thinking of getting an acekard r.p.g. or cyclo evo.

If you want features and stuff like that go for cyclo. It has a lot of advanced features, and more incoming. The team listens to their customers as well, and has the most advantage. It just sucks that it's really expensive.

Well, I would go for Acekard ( and i will, soon)
for budget, DSTT is just fine.
Cyclo Evo is nice too with its "enhanced menu" and RTS and such features.
but ultimately I would go for Acekard R.P.G any day ( Open source, dual memory, nice menu, so far a great team, great compatibility, need i say more?)

I had the R4 and moved to the CycloDS and never looked back. It is a killer card!
Best of luck in your choice.

From everything I've read, the CycloDS is the best choice. SDHC FTW!

its not easy to get hold of a cyclo though, from what ive read.
also the DOA rate of the cyclo is pretty high.
i think i will go with the acekard.

thanks to everyone!

They fixed the DOA problems with the newest batch though...

oh. thanks, cool.

hmm... now is the only question remaining.

where to buy?

i wanted to get the acekard from bamboo gaming. any good place for the cyclo?
also, im euro based, so us-based stores cost me an arm and a leg for shipping.
the chinese often ship for free though.
