Gaming Quick question

I've got today a new PSP Slim with the CFW 4.01m33 installed.

Now here's the total newbie question: how can I access the custom menu (the one where we can change speed, etc)?

I've tried that, but nothing happens.

Hold r and turn it on (this will activate recovery mode) and click on cpu speed you will have to options
speed in xmb and speed in umd /iso

^this works for me in 3.90-m33-3

btw the select button should work.
