Hacking Quick question r4i Gold

Will this not be upgradeable to further firmware in the future.. Like DSi 1.15v came out or something, u wouldnt be able to upgrade the firmware of the r4i Gold?

Good question. I think it will only be for 1.4. They would probably release another card for 1.5 but nothig is certain until it comes out.

Wouldnt it depend on what the upgrade really is? If its hardware it'll be a new cart?
And if its software, IF upgrade-able with the current hardware, will just be downloadable, im not suuuuure

does dsi firmware 1.4a work with the R4i Gold ???( kernel 1.3) .

My R4i Gold was working ok a yesterday but stopped this morning .. ( i get the "an error occurred Press and Hold .........)

I am wondering if I have inadvertnetly updated my DSi to V1.4a when I connected to the web last night .... I certainly do not remember being asked to update my firmware whilst I was connected
