Hacking quick question about region patching

Would patching ntsc-u games to ntsc-j via w.iu1.1, and then wiifrii make a game unplayable?
Since i did this, due to wiifrii not working since i forgot to move the common-key file with it, and after i figured it out, i re-patched about 7 different games.

burned two(boom blox, and rayman raving rabbids) and neither work.

Edit: Forgot to say i burned boom blox on dvd+rw, dvd-r, and dvd-rw.

Also i have a 3.2j japanese, wiikei 1.9s wii.
