Ok, I want a SUPER simple USB loader so i plug the USB into the computer copy the ISO and bam! plug it back in and choose the backup loader channel and start playing.

P.S. supports latest firmware'
P.P.S. I dont have and dont want homebrew channel.
P.P.P.S. Simple setup would also be nice (like just extracting a .rar onto the USB).

I noticed that CIOS rev19 is out!

Now, I have had Hermes IOS 222/223, so I'm wondering how would I go about installing CIOS rev19 without losing Hermes IOS 222 and 223?

I have a 4.1E Wii Softmodded with Configurable USB Loader

in order to install wiiflow channel you need IOS36 (which i got) and either IOS222 or IOS249 (I think). So i got wiiflow from http://wiiflow.wiitdb.com/ the full version. So there is an app folder (that one is from hbc) WAD folder ( for the channel) and a wiiflow folder that has themes. in the wad folder there are 12 wads. there are 4 wiiflow channels. i wnat to install carbonik. there are carbonik wads. One forwarder ( that one is for the sd card i think) , one wad for IOS222 and another for IOS249. Here is my question:
I need to install first IOS222/IOS249 and then the correct wad right?
Also, how do I install the themes?

I'm getting a new External HDD to use with USB Loader, however, I have several questions before I go out and buy it.

I need to identify that which External HDD from this list works with USB Loader without any problem, preferably those with larger storage.

Also, what is the best USB Loader available?

Hi guys,i have followed the xzxero guide (update to 4.2 and modify) but i can't get the neogamma to work. Also tried usb loader Gx with same result. No one usb storage drive detected. I have tried with two different drives, both listed as works in the compatiblity list. Drives are formatted in WBFS with WBFS manager 3.0.
Neogamma (R8 RC3, cIOS 249rev17) load dvd backup correctly.In the upper usb port it says "25 tries left,24,23, while in the other usb port it freeze. Same story with USb loader GX.
Neogamma and USB loader GX are installed as channel.
Installed cIOS: 202,222,223,249,250
I have tried to restoring trucha bug again, at the end i get message "no stubs found"
What do need to do?

My bad. I didn't notice the forum link was to an old version but should've. Personally I like to use forwarders, they're always more current than the channel it seems.

Hi, I couldn't find an answer so here goes:

I'm trying to backup my NAND via Bootmii.
I'm using the same SD card I've used to backup the NAND half a year ago.
When I go into Bootmii, I do as it says but it stops at "Checking SD Card" and nothing happens after that.
The SD card is completely empty beside the bootmii folder.

What can I do?

have you updated bootmii since you last backed up your nand? have you got a nand backup on the card already? If you have you could try deleting it first... maybe your sd card has errors... try checking it on your pc/mac

- I have not updated bootmii
- I have deleted the old nand backup from the card
- I've checked the card under Windows 7 and it reports no errors and no bad sectors
- It's formatted FAT, with a 32kb allocation unit size.

I've reformatted the SD card under Windows 7. Returning it into the Wii, Bootmii said it didn't like the format's OS, so it reformatted the card again and now it's doing the backup properly. Yay!

I have 3 working burned games, and I believe I'm using the most current NeoGamma and all that. I'll add it here later, I can't access it to check my exact configuration right now (I used the "Modify any Wii 4.2 or below" guide here: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=171901 ).

Anyway, Tatsunoko vs CAPCOM isn't working, it reads it and the disc loads the game but all I get is a black screen. Was it just a bad burn/bad iso? Anyone else had this problem? I haven't found anything about it on this site so I thought I'd try this topic for a quick answer to my question.

I'm very new to this and followed the guide at completesg. When I go into USB Loader GX, it says I have 0 games, but I do have games. Here's my set up:

SeaGate FreeAgent Go 320GB with one NTFS partition. I used Wii Backup Manager to put the game in the wbfs folder and do whatever conversion it does.

try going to the global options page, and make sure u have the partition set to NTFS (i'm assuming that's now an option, back when I last used usb loader gx the options were FAT32 and wbfs, but ntfs support was added since then so it should now also be an option in the same place)
