Replace it with this one. I modified it so Cfg will look for and save covers in the SD card.

These are legit. I had moved several WiiWare games to the SD card when I started running out of space on the Wii.

I was thinking of using this to run them from the External HDD for simplicity but it looks like they are not in WAD format on the SD? Looks like bin files? Agreed?

Nevermind, the advantage isn't worth any potential headaches.

OK, I think this is the last question I'll have to bother you with (at least for the near future!) ...

Since I'm using an NTFS hdd and running the CFG from the SD, do I need to keep the "apps" and "usb-loader" folders on said HDD? I'd like to keep my root menu as tidy as possible

Anybody know?
You can delete them without a problem. The only folder that needs to stay one your HDD for usb loading is "wbfs".

loading games off of hdd, doesn't work. once the wii switches to gamecube mode, it cuts power to the usb ports. the only way to play gamecube games, are off a burned cd (if you wii dvd drive can read).. or retail disk. or if you have a chip or a wode.

you can use neogama, that is if your wii was made before 2009 (i think). check your model number on the bottom, if it starts with "lu64" then your out of luck, you'll need a hard mod, or retail cube games to play on wii. not sure what the newer wii numbers are, but if black or red. you are defiantly out of luck. unless you change the dvd drive. or hard mod.

Thanks but I'm having some problems. I can load old games just fine, but new games like Wii Play: Motion and Kirby's Epic Yarn come up with disc read errors. What can I do to fix this, I'm using NeoGamma R9 B50.
