I just received my New 3DS LL and I have v. 9.0.0 (YAY)​

Now I am having a bad time choosing wich cart to buy and have a few question i'd like answered​

1. Where could I find a PAL version of the cubic ninja game if i want to buy the gateway card?​

2. I Heard the Sky3DS could not play Regular NDS roms?​

​

3. I check the R4 website to check if I could buy one and just play my regular NDS game if i had to buy the SKY3DS and it is saying that it can also play 3ds games. Is it true? What can the R4i gold 3ds do on a N3DS​

4. Is there any alternative if i only want to play NDS game on my N3ds?​

if you buy a sky3ds you can only play Jap games with YOUR N3ds as its a jap console, Pal cubic ninja wont work on a Jap console either, buy a sky3ds and put a cubic ninja JAP rom on it to use the exploit then buy a gateway card to play games from any region.

for sky3ds it doesnt matter wich firmware you got (works on the latest)

Then get both. If you buy a sky, you can trigger the exploit without buying OoT or Cubic Ninja. And you can use the gateway for everything else. If gateway gets blocked indefinitely(I doubt it) you can use sky.

If you need just one, get gateway. It is the best one out there.

Why would you wanna do that? It's a N3DS! You may as well have bought a second-hand modded NDS Lite instead of a N3DS. You're gonna play 3DS games, dammit, and you're gonna like it! lol Also, Gateway comes with a blue card (read: a cheap Ace3DS knock-off from what I read) that can play NDS games... but you have to make a PERMANENT patch to sysNAND... so yeah... And only on 9.2 or lower! Nintendo patched all currently released exploits above 9.2.

Why would you wanna do that? It's a N3DS! You may as well have bought a second-hand modded NDS Lite instead of a N3DS. Thats starting to get a little expensive just to play those NDS games :S

Cubic ninja for 70$? Buy a used one lol. Or simply buy OoT. Gateway has more features and such, making it more worth your time.

Unless you just want games now, no questions asked, then go for sky.

1. you don't need cubic ninja or oot to use gateway in 9.0. oops just noticed that you have n3ds. so in that case, instead of spend CAD$70 for cubic ninja, better spend it for oot. I've seen it sold for US$50 and it's a better game than cn

4. use this to play nds game using gateway blue card (it installs to sysnand, so might be a little dangerous)
