ROM Hack [Question] Where are the Mii's heads and hair models stored in the 3DS?

I took to exploring the Mii Maker CIA myself (about 4.2 MB) and found models like the Mii Plaza and the Mii bodies, but I can't find the heads nor hairs. Where could they be stored since they're not in the actual Mii Maker? Which raises another question; why would Mii's not be pulled from the Mii Maker itself and instead be elsewhere on the 3DS? Seems strange... unless I'm not digging through the "models" folder enough.
