Homebrew [Question] System Transfer FW Version

I'm new here so sorry if i'm doing something wrong or sound like an idiot.
I have a N3DS XL with 11.0.0-33U and my friend said he has a 3DS that he hasn't updated for 2 years (I asked him for the version but he said it wasn't charged so i am going to use my charger). If i homebrew his 3DS and use ctr-httpwn to system transfer, would his low version be transferred to mine so i can get CFW? Thanks. -Paradox

No.

But you can install A9LH on his console and then do a system transfer from his consols to yours and do the proper downgrade. (check this guide)

If you are lucky and the 3DS really isn't updated, just do dsiware downgrade (if he lets you hack his 3ds). Sure it costs 5$ but hey free games, i guess
