Hacking Question regarding 9.0.0 N3DS

Hey guys,

i read a lot of guides, because i want CFW on my N3DS. (espacially ReiNand)

I saw a video tutorial and it explains the whole process really nice. But he starts at a 9.2 Firmware.
My N3DS is on 9.0.0-20E.

Can i just follow this tutorial anyways?

Yeah no worries. 9.0 and 9.2 are almost the same system. Go for it.

Thanks guys, it all worked out and now i have all i wanted
It took quite a bit of time, but finally it worked

One last question: I installed a Coustom Theme through homebrew launcher.
After that, it automatically boots into Sysnand and i have no acces to my CFW or anything else.

Any tips?

If you're using Menuhax you can't install custom themes with CHMM2, you have to use Tinker: https://gbatemp.net/threads/tinker-shuffle-menuhax-theme-manager.407445/
If you're trying to install a custom theme on emuNAND then you should unlink your NANDs by formatting your sysNAND using TinyFormat: https://github.com/javimadgit/TinyFormat/releases
Then your sysNAND and emuNAND themes won't be linked anymore and you can change the theme as normal in emuNAND without losing menuhax.
