Hi guys,

I know this question has been answered in various threads over and over again, but I find conflicting information and I had a few questions to add to this, and I hope everyone can benefit from this post.

Simply put, can I upgrade a New 3DS emuNAND to 10.3?

If not, is there any promising work on this?

If it becomes possible, what will be required to update peoples SD cards? An update to rxTools? (I'm getting better but I'm still confused by a lot of this. I got my 3DS a month ago). Or an update to the emuNAND?

If Nintendo releases a 10.4 update, will they be able to prevent online play unless you upgrade?

And finally, and this is kind of unrelated but is there a way to spoof firmware versions so I can run games (games that aren't cryptofixed or whatever) online?

Thanks

They say Gateway is working on making updating to 10.3 possible, who knows, maybe they are waiting until 10.4 to release it.

To update Emunand, you need sysUpdater(Not the memchuckhax version), an update to rxTools will most likely happen if this occured, not sure.

when 10.4, no, you won't need to update.

and yes, look for guides, it's possible. CIA's come pre-patched now in days.
