Hacking Question on the Extract Game option on WBFS Tool

I'm using the WBFS rev7 and one of the options is "Extract Game". I see that it copies the game from the Wii formated disc back onto a hard drive in .iso format. And also seems to extract it in the original .iso's file size.

Is there a way to extract it in the smaller size for backup purposes? Can I extract Wii Sports to the 300 or so MBs that it actually takes up on the disc instead of having the 4.6 GB iso?
