I finally decided to upgrade to a n3ds. Of course the first thing i'm going to do is instal CFW on it. But then afterward comes the system transfer from an o3ds to n3ds. Most guides out there say that cia's won't show up after the system transfer because cardboard takes tickets from the eshop. And most guides say 'just reinstall' the CIAs and the tickets will be restored. The problem is, for me at least, I don't keep all my CIAs on the SD card... or even in one place. It would take quite a bit of effort to consolidate my CIAs and make sure I haven't missed any (comparing with what I have on the o3ds) and downloading (again) the ones i'm missing...
It would be much easier for me to simply export the tickets from the o3ds and import them to the n3ds. So will simply exporting the ticket.db from the o3ds and importing it enough? It seems fairly simple to me. Am I missing anything else that might make this not work as intended?
Also, I haven't followed 3DS utilities since... before B9S was a thing... maybe even only after al9h became a thing... when B9S came out *all* i did was upgrade from a9lh and not canvass around for utilities and tools at all. So, what's the latest and greatest? or rather most recommended at this point for me to accomplish this task?
