Hardware Question & functionality of 3.0 USB Hub

Please do not kill for this but I need information...

Hmm I am buy 3.0 USB hub... What I want know is if is covinience to inject into 3.0 USB port or 2.0 USB port of laptop? I am only put 2.0 USB devices into hub. Example... ElGatoHD60, Microphone, wireless adapter for mouse & keyboard, these device are only 2.0 USB.

What become dangers(risks)? Hmm.. how to say.. Best method?

USB 3.0 can be used in USB 2.0 slots just fine, absolutely nothing would happen other than it wouldn't be using USB 3.0 speeds. Why would there be "danger"?

There are no risks at all, it's just that everything will run at USB 2.0 speeds
