Hardware (Question) Forcing 1080i Res on Switch when it shows 720p

I got a 1080i TV but
when i dock my Switch it shows 480p and 720p only, same thing in handled mode.
is a HDMI adapter who makes think to the Nintendo Switch that resolution 1080i exist ?

Think 720p is still better then 1080I tho. 720p handles fast images better and in games you have that more then watching regular tv

cant see results like "HDMI 1080p to 1080i converter box" or "simple HDMI res converter box including 1080i output option", at Amazon, eBay..

Sorry, you are right. You need a "scaler" that supports HDMI output to 1080i. But I think it is hard to find a HDMI to HDMI scaler.

If your tv also supports 720p that would be the better option. Interlacing is a thing of the past.
