Do I need to copy all files to both the blue card and my 3DS's SD card?
Or can I just copy launcher.dat to my SD card and leave the files the same on my blue card?

If you have already created the emunand, you don't need the blue card anymore. You don't need to reinstall the exploit.

Just use the new launcher, copy and paste it.

Launch the DS profile, make you sure you are on Gateway mode and update the emunand.

I don't remember installing any exploit, I always just went into settings to launch into gateway mode (unless I played a ds game earlier, which I then use the blue card to get to the gateway profile thing). Is there a way with emunand to never use the blue card again even after playing a DS game?

All you need to do is replace the launcher.dat on the big SD card in the 3DS.
That is all.
Ah, thanks.

How will I know if I ever need to update the files on the blue card though?

When you use the Gateway mode, you can't play DS games. The exploit is based on the DS profile, which means, if you play a DS game, you will need to use the blue card again and install the exploit again.

You pretty much never have to update the blue card since the exploit has been the same since the beginning.

I believe, since the Sysnand is never updated, that you will never need to update the blue card. Unless they release an update to make it work on the new firmwares (ie. 9.1) for a second 3DS or something, but I doubt they would ever do that.

Edit: :ninja:'d

Don't forget that if you play any DS games, you will have to redo the DS exploit with the blue card. This includes any DS roms with a flashcart.

I'm in Omega 2.2 and today I will update to the Ultra 3.0.4

Just replace the file "Launcher.dat" or need to do some step before? and after?

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
