Back on topic now, of course...this is serious business.

Yeah, because I really want to get it and I want to be sure that it has 1.4..I sure hope it does..I dont think Nintendo would screw us with 1.5..in Europe it came out 3 weeks ago and that one had 1.4, so what would be the odds of the US version having 1.5

From all reports the DSi XL works with all Flash cards so I'm guessing it's 1.4u like the DSi.

I hope so, I hope that Nintendo doesn't screw us over and put in firmware 1.5 which will not work on flash cards..don't most stores get these systems early? It would be nice if someone working at a store or somewhere got hold of one of these and verified what firmware it contains

1 - I don't think a firmware update has ever been on retail machines before being released normally.

2 - We don't know for sure than 1.5 will try to block flashcarts, as 1.4 was the first one to.

3 - People have already confirmed the E one comes with 1.4E.

Yeah so I guess its safe to assume if the European version has 1.4, then so will the US version..Im excited for the release..Ive already pre ordered it

I just purchased an Acekard 2i, because I'm planning to purchase a DSi XL. I'd be pissed if it had a flashcart-blocking 1.5U.

...and yes, here in Canada, our Nintendo firmware ends with "U".

One more week to go. I just wish that someone here in the states were somehow able to get hold of one of these to verify what firmware it comes with..dont some stores already have them in advance
