Hacking Question about .sav files

Basically my Acekard 2i is a dud. I've sent for a new card that should arrive tomorrow. My question is this - will the save files on my microSD card work with my new Acekard, or will they be written over? I apologize if this question has been already answered, my search did not turn up any relevant topics.

The savefiles should work. There is no difference in the save format between various acekards. If the savefiles aren't corrupted the only possible issue might be to set the savefile naming in system options.

Should work fine.

If you're using AKAIO firmware (like you should be :b) go into the system settings and choose the type of sav file that matches the one you have (eg. *.nds.sav or *.sav).
