I know this is rather far-fetched... I have an adapter that allows you to connect a ps2 controller to the wii's gamecube port. It works for any game that supports gamecube controllers, but my friend has a ps2 guitar that came with the ps2 version of guitar hero 3. Do you suppose the guitar would work for a backup of rockband via the gamecube port and adapter?

Since when did Guitar Hero ever read controllers from a Gamecube slot?

I doubt it will work.

That won't work at all.

I tried an xbox wired controller. didn't work

i don't know if it is possible but could a driver be made to allow other controllers to work?

Well somethings gotta give here far as the usb driver/controller aspect since RB1 drum sets for sure use the usb direct and RB2 drums I pretty sure use it through a wireless usb. Both GHWT and RB's use usb to feed in audio by combination of wiimote and usb mic. Hopefully someone will shead light on the subject over in the hardware section as some of us can't seem to get or drums to work: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=128...p;#entry1701031
