Hacking Question about R4 font

Id eventually like to create some of my own skins but providing I can use the R4 logo in them.
Did the R4 team use a random font and then splice the 4 together with the R or is this a real font?
I've looked maybe just a little to much into this and if anyone could help me out I'd appreciate it.

Some practical uses for this would be using gradients on the logo
and my personal reason is just to be able to resize the image.

I'd ask on the R4 forums if a member of the team could post a high-res/vector image of the logo...

The font I use is URWBookmanL DemiBold for the R. They seem to have scooped out some of the 2nd leg on the R.
Can't figure out the font for the 4 though...

Here's the logo in .eps/.svg format. Someone at the official forums made it. Use Photoshop/Paint Shop Pro/whatever to use it.
