Gaming Question about Pokemon Breeding

Sorry for the noobish question about Pokemon breeding, but I was wondering if there was a way to breed the starter pokemon for a new starter? Or do you just have to keep restarting the game to get a guy with good IVs and everything?

I was especially looking for a way to make a first form of Goukazaru.... whose American name I believe to be Infernape. So, any help would be appreciated.

Yes, there are two ways to breed your starter:
- Get a female one (12.5% of getting one), and breed it with a Pokemon in the same breeding group

or

- Breed with a Ditto. Ditto can breed with almost everything except legendaries, and a few exceptions.

I'm surprised you know about IVs yet you don't know about Ditto breeding!

Sorry, I came up with one more question. I guess I'm just a breeding newbie.

Anyway, if I try to breed my Goukazaru with a ditto, will I get his first form or will I get a level 1 goukazaru?

theres multiple levels of evolution? So if you get a started to 3rd evolution, you can make it strong still if you breed it?

ALL eggs hatched are LVL 1

the male gives the moves (TM, Eggs)

the female gives the species and possibly nature (with everstone)

1 IV is taken from male, 1 IV from female and 1 IV from one of the two, the 3 others are randomly generated....
