Hacking Question about ModMii

So I got into the Wii hacking scene about 2 years ago. I have a 4.0U Wii which I modded using BannerBomb if I remember correctly. I noticed ModMii is out and what I want to do, or see if I can do, is if I can just install ModMii on my Wii and see if that will bring my Wii's "modded"-ness up to date. Anyone know if this will work and not cause problems for my Wii?

You install ModMii on your PC, it's not a Wii app. But it certainly will bring your Wii up to date. Just follow the very clear instructions. Generally people tell ModMii their Wii is unmodded, and skip the BannerBomb/game exploit/(recent)LetterBomb part.

Or you can run the Hackmii installer through the HBC if you need to update the HBC or Bootmii.
