Hacking Question about GBC to PC

So I love playing Roms on my PC and on my School Labtop, however I got an R4i Gold 3DS so i moved all my GBC roms with saves over. and saving on that worked just fine. However when I go to open it back up in VBA I cant because it it saves as a Pokemon Crystal . ls0, .ls1 , ls2, etc depending on what save slot and I don't know how to run it on both to where I can go back and forth between my labtop and my ds.
Can someone please tell me if this is possible. And trust me I HAVE tryed doing a ton of searches and couldn't find the answer.

i think those are quicksaves. get the ones with .sav extension.

Thats my question. How do you save it to where it saves the .sav. That .sav file only saves on VBA.

I ended up figuring it out. What you have to do is save in the game, Then save the sate when you tap on the screen the menu comes up. Then it saves to the .sav. Otherwise it "saves" But its not really saving. You save the save by doing that lol.
