ok so obviously there may be a spot where this is answered i did not see it.

I have wii games on hard drive in WBFS folder.
Gamecube games in Games folder on hard drive.

Wii games show up in usbloaderGX but i dont see any gamecube. DO i need to change a setting for it to pick up games on hard drive for gamecube? Am i missing something here? seems loader for gamecube pathing only says SD main, auto, null?

gc game mustbe in a fat32.so ntfs canbefind.iuse one fat32 disk
yeah they are in a fat32

I loaded the wii games as a wbfs and the gamecube on the same hard drive wii works fine. at this time the issue is that the gamecube games say the path is wrong. or i have to use a different loader. but the main path for GC is changed from SD to 1USB games file

I have a hard time understanding what you're trying to say here (conflicting sentences). So are you able to play the gamecube games on your hard drive?

sorry.

I have both Camecube and WII games on the same HDD no seperation as i am under the understanding its not needed. outside of wii games in wbfs folder and gamecube in a "games" folder

Current wii game issue seems to be it says it has a disk read error even though its not a disk. Maybe the wii? but happened on 2 so far not all games but many.

Gamecube games it sees them and lists them. can click on them but when i launch it gives me an error about path being wrong.

The fact that you can play some wii games an not others lead me to believe that there is an issue with the hard drive itself. A few things to consider:
1) Have you checked the hard drive for bad sectors?
2) Does the hard drive have its own power supply or does it use the USB as the power source? If the hard drive does not have its own power supply, I would try using a USB Y-cable to see if that helps. This is because some older hard drives are more power-hungry and each USB port can only supply a maximum of 0.5 amp. Using a USB Y-cable doubles the amount of power that can be provided to the hard drive.

You are correct that both Wii and Gamecube games can be on the same hard drive. That is how I have mine setup.
Wii games: hd:\wbfs
Gamecube games: hd:\games
