So I'm considering getting a DStwo plus for playing regular DS games on my 3DS.
Can I do this without modifying or installing anything on my 3ds? (It's updated with the latest official firmware).

Pretty sure everything you need to download goes on the flashcard itself. Don't think it will affect the console in any way visible when the card is out (other than play time in your records).

this...

you do not require any modification on the console, neither install anything.
all you need is to shove the dstwo card files (and games) into a micro sd card and it's plug and play
the card simulates a real DS game (alex stormbreaker) which will appear on your play book record. but almost every (if not all) DS card does this...

Thanks for the helpful replies! :)
I think I'll buy one then, it's gonna be nice not having to play translated games on my original fat DS :D
