I read that on animal crossing city folk, you can transfer your acww character's face, but I'm not sure what that means. Do they mean the clothes you're wearing? I didn't play acww in a long time, but I don't remember any face customization.
You can transfer you character from wild world as well as your catalog. Not the items per se, only the catalog entries.
It's done by uploading a download-play software from the wii, which will import the character from your save of the original carts within the DS. Obviously, this prevents the importing from a rom save.
