Anyone have a guide on how to setup NNID on 9.2 sysnand ?
I always get the message to upgrade firmware for NNID setup.

I'm curious, why do you need a NNID on sysNAND at all?
Anyway, to do that you'll need to install the latest nver cia (10.2U if you have a USA console), and you might need to run Free Multi Patcher as well. That should make it work as normal. Of course Free Multi Patcher needs to be ran from CFW so you'll have to launch rxTools (or whatever you're using) in sysNAND mode. Once the NNID setup is done you won't need FMP anymore.

The 10.2U nver cia can be downloaded with 3DNUS/3DSNUS. TitleID 000400DB00016302 v448. Make sure you pick New or Old to match your 3DS type and don't touch the version spoof or it will break the signature of the cia and maybe brick your 3DS.

but ironfall will only run on 9.5+.

you can do something like downgrade MSET, or use menuhax for auto-booting into cfw.
