I do wish they just offered the console and controller shells. I already own couple Series X but do love that green look. I can't find any 3rd party shells for Series X other than the stupid sticker sets.

The translucent stuff is great and would like to get one, it would be my first Series console ever. I don't really care about the game, though. I'll gladly give it away if I get my hands on the console.

I’ll agree that it’s pretty expensive, but mostly due to current market conditions as opposed to some kind of deliberate scheme to milk the fans. If I were to grab it, I’d probably trade my old system against this new one, but I love my Halo Series X way too much, even if it doesn’t get much use outside of Gamepass.
