As said on Wololo´s blog, a homebrew dev managed to run a psx game on his vita with a kernel exploit made possible by the flash0 dump.He is planing to release just the files, without the exploit after he manages to make the sound work.

Not really. The PSP mode was "hacked" with variations of the current PSP HENs a while back too.

Actually POPS (Playstation On PSP System) is built into the PSP's firmware, what was done was simply accessing it, they didn't make it.

That's a nice step and half more a reason for me to purchase a Vita. Official support for them PsOne Classics is long due though. What the hell are they waiting for, and bring Legend of Dragoon to Europe already SCEE!!
