PSW: Expect PS3 Slim and Price Cut at TGS 09

UK based magazine PSW has claimed that we can expect the new PS3 SLIM to be announced at the Tokyo Games Show. Although their evidence doesn't seem to be anything beyond the supposed box looking similar to the PSP GO (which we all know).

"The PS3 Slim Packaging looks almost identical to the confirmed PSP Go, so it isn't a fake. Expect the smaller, lighter PS3 to be announced at the Tokyo Games Show in September, just in time for Xmas"

Not only that, but they say we can expect a PS3 price cut announcement at TGS in September.

Nah, the price was bound to drop when the slim PS3 was going to be released. Like the PS2 slim.
Going to keep my fat PS3, I seen the leak photos of the slim PS3, it looks ugly imo. Hopefully that picture is fake or a prototype.

ps3 slim will actually sell better than the ps3 phat cuz unlike the ps2, the slim one came out very late when the market was full of ps2 (atleast here)... so i think releasing one now is better and will sell more

Considering we're talking inanimate objects here, and women are no laughing matter, only reason they do this is to to get the fanboys to buy the new system, and people who don't have the old one to get it. I wouldn't have a fat wife in the first place.

. If I did though, I wouldn't let her into the kitchen because she'd eat all my damn food. Also if I had a slim cook I would constantly be hitting on her, so she wouldn't get much cooking done.

But I probably would get a fat PS3 after the slims have launched, mainly because the price would possibly drop quite a bit.

Unless they're planning to launch the slim at a crazy price, like $800.

let their supply of old ps3s drain out and then when the supply is low announce the new system. It makes perfect bussiness sence.

PS1 and PS2 game support wil make or break it for me here. I doubt it will have the chip like 60GB PS3s now, but I'll keep dreaming. I'll own a PS3 some day....

I'm cool with my 60gb PS3 with a 320gb HDD installed. The machine is a beast, and its continually getting better and better.
