Also sorry for continuing the off topic (don't want to create a useless topic over it) but I have another question.

When I access the recovery menu I have these options.

Toggle USB
Configuration
Run program at /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP
Advanced
CPU Speed
Plugins
Registry hacks

What does each option do?

What I want to know mostly is what does the plugin option do? I do not have psnlover yet or cheatmaster or popsloader (dunno what that is) and I thought since it had these options maybe they were already in the system? They do get repeated once or twice and by that I mean I see CheatMaster option twice. Does this mean I enable both too? Also if I were to set the CPU Speed what should I set it to? Would it affect every game I play? I am playing FFVII Crisis Core at the moment and the cutscenes are extremely laggy or the loading into the game and I was hoping to fix this if I were to set the speed to the max. If it affects my other games like MGS Peace Walker and MHFU then I will leave it at default.

There has been an update to Snes9x Euphoria, however, I cannot get it to load on my psp.

PSP 2001 Vader/White
5.00m33-6 (with 5.00m33-7 recovery menu)

If anyone has better luck with it please let me know and I'll see about adding it here.

Muchos Gracias

It works once you fix it (otherwise i get the same black screen and shut down on boot), but i still have the feeling i'll stick to s9xTYLmecm.

Edit - Also hadn't actually checked to see what updates you were on in the first post. Your Hugo and Masterboy emulators are both out of date too. Also have you compared PCE for PSP v0.83D6 to Hugo? (I haven't yet but it may be worth a shot).

see this post regarding Masterboy v2.02.

I know of PSPHUGO v1.3.1, however, it only adds IRDA-Joystick support which is something that 99.8% of users will never utilize. There are no other changes between the two versions.

I have played around a bit with PCE for PSP v0.83D6 and haven't notice any differences in compatibility.

The Snes9x Euphoria R4 works well on my psp (5.50 Prometheus). s9xTYLmecm is good but Uniracers won't work, I tried Uniracers with the new Snes9x Euphoria and it works.

If you are using gPSPj 4/2010 release I have a fair warning for everyone playing Pokemon.

Do NOT opt to nickname a Pokemon after capture. Reguardless if you give it a nickname or not the game WILL CRASH as soon as you press start on the nickname screen to confirm! I do not know if the same can be said about the Name rater though.

Arg I'm so frustrated with gpSP.

I've tried the Kai version, the official version, the J version, nothing seems to work gah.

My problem is I try to load any .gba rom, and it just crashes my PSP. Like it hangs at Load Rom, and then shuts off my PSP.

What the hell, hope someone here can help me out.

With me, I can load the games and play them fine, but if I try to savestate, it does the same thing as that to me :/

I have just found out that you can use the game_config text file SCDS2/Iplayer GBA EMU (game_config.txt) v1.3 on the gpSP-J 4-29-10 (GBA) emulator for the PSP and it works perfectly, I just tried playing Aladdin and it works, it no longer freezes

Ah, well I solved the loading problem by disabling the Custom Firmware Extender plugin. Thank you Google.

I tried savestating and it works, so it seems to be a plugin related issue.

Good luck bro
