I don't have a PSP, but I am interested in getting one pretty soon. I want to buy a used one if possible, and I was wondering what the market value is. I have a couple of friends who have PSPs who don't play them much and might be interested in selling them and I want to offer them a fair price for it. I've searched Ebay a few times and it seems like $90-110 would be a fair price, but I'm not certain. Thanks in advance.

id say that about $100 is a good price for a working psp in good condition.
Just 2 months ago my sister sold her psp on ebay for $185 ebay
She got a ds lite, and has no intention of selling it

Check Craigslist out, thats where I got my second PSP. And dont forget to check the firmware. I loves me my 1.5 bleach custom

I've already got a DS, and love it, which is, of course, why I'm on this site.

And while I don't anticipate a PSP being as good as or replacing my DS, I think there's enough worthwhile games/homebrew/multimedia to make it worth buying it used (especially when you factor in the price of pirated games). Maybe that is blasphemy on a primarily GBA/DS site, but I think it's good to keep an open mind about these things

Wise decision

Just make sure the PSP you buy is not higher than firmware 2.71 otherwise you wont be able to downgrade and enjoy the lovely homebrew.

and you don't want a TA082 mother board.

but that being said, they have a new eloader that runs on firmware up to 2.6. which is good for me cause the psp i bought yesterday has a TA082 mother board. i'm just waiting for them to be able to put devhook on it so i can start downloading games.
