^That game was pretty bad, and far too poorly balanced. The cross attack slays everything if you power it up, except one enemy and by then you've probably gone a fair way maxing the scythe. Plus the enemy variation was tiny.

Metal Gear Ac!d 2 - Solid Snake in as close to an SRPG as you can force him.
