Gaming PSP cheats aren't working

Title. Basically the Cheats (cwcheat) won't appear at all on my PSP.
They use to now the stopped like yesterday when I updated it.
help!

How did you update your db? Did you download a db & replace the old one? Or you typed new codes manually?

I had this issue with the pops cheats (not the normal game ones) and I could not get them back (I even updated manually but it kept replacing it with an 8kb file if I remember right) until I reinstalled cwcheat manually, then it worked just fine.

By deleting the cwcheat folder+prx, and then installing a clean one.

Not by using it's update ability.
