Guys, i don't know if this is the best place to ask for help, but i've installed the cwcheat plugin, and i was able to hold select and enter the cheat mode, but when i enter on search for cheat, no cheat is found.
I tried with final fantasy anniversary edition and tekken 6.
thanks for the help.
Also note that TempAR uses multiple databases, so if the default doesn't have codes for a game, go to the TempAR settings page, go to the database loading thing, and press right to change from cheat.db to cheat1.db (or cheat2.db and so on) and load those.
Yeah I noticed that straight off the bat, and after opening up each of the database figured out the scheme, loaded up a psx database I found too, renamed to cheat4.db, works swimmingly.
Time to drop CWcheatPOPs in favor of TempAR for PSX stuff.
EDIT: And a note, for POPS you need to use tempar_lite.prx.
EDIT2: Since PSP CheatUp was rendered inoperable and some of the info here is old, I might re-make this thread, I just need time to grab the right resources.

Near the bottom it shows you how to install plugins.
Get TempAR and set it up.

The default key to access the menu in-game is L+R+HOME, IIRC. When you reach the cheat screen, press the Note key on the PSP to turn the cheat engine on.
Got my PSP Go here, running 6.20 ProC. I know I just barely scratched the surface, but I am interested.
Sadly I see that GBAtemp abandoned the PSP cheat database, since their DS cheatDB has been quite handy for my Supercard DStwo.
Even so, that cheat-up App doesn't seem to work... just keeps giving errors when trying to connect or save any databases. That said, I would like to start using some of these cheats... on some games more than others (looking particularly at some of the PSOne releases for PSP for instace).
Although to give it it's due CWCheat still has a more capable text reader (multiple different text files possible per game), is useful for adjusting clock speed on the fly in game (most useful for stupid button mashing sequences a la torture in MGS) and has much of the same functionality as TempAR. Using FAQ's and text files is still cheating....
Yeah I'm going to include CMFusion and CWCheat as well. CMFusion's got the save-state stuff as well, while CWCheat's got the POPS version (TempAR does, CMMF does not it seems).
