is single joy con multiplayer supported? i only have 3 joy cons.
I think you van use a single joycon but not sure, can test for ya if you want
EDIT: Yup, you can play with a single joycon, but you need to enable it in the emulator on the menu screen, does not matter if the connected joycons go into the emu as a single controller

Delete db.xml and make sure your roms are in /switch/psnes/roms.. Or whatever your psnes folder is named
I'm sorry I tested it but I have some problems building the database for my roms. Does someone have a readytouse romset or can give me some hints?

Its working for me, to bring up the menu press + and - at the same time, it's the 3rd option, make sure that when you finish playing, to not lose your save states or sram, close the game with the menu and exit the emulator pressing +, not using the home button.
Thanks very much for the info

I think no-intro or Goodsnes is good keyword to throw in google ;)

Can I disable the right control stick somehow? It's frustrating when I play super metroid and press randomly a direction, because the stick is right below the buttons.

Hi everyone, new to the scene but have some experience on other consoles..

Quick question, I had my previews show up with no problem.. they're labeled correctly in the previews folder.. I had the roms as ZIP, tried SFC, I can no longer see them.. only Mario World shows up for some reason, they're all PNG and worked before.. Anyone has ran into this?

Thanks!

So I figured out... Turned out all the files were somehow corrupted.. I've been using the wireless FTP program to do the transfers and all.. Maybe that's not reliable yet? Good thing I had a backup on my computer..

I am also using a 64Gb Micro SD card and from reading around (Retroarch README), having the cart at exFAT can cause issues so I've reformatted it in FAT32 and we'll see if I run into any other issues...!

I just want to thank you for the good work!! Love it!! No problems at all, but last night I docked my switch to play on my tv, after 10 mins playing I got an error. Is this normal? I had to reset my switch. Thank you.

same here, playing mario world for 10 mins ends up crashing while the switch is hooked to the tv

This is not a problem of psnes. It works Perfectly undocked. It's a problem of the cfw, I'm Pretty sure it occurs on SX os as well as hekate. TX said they're "working on it". Only happens docked though.

Works like a charm, thank you!! Though I do have one request (if it's not in psnes already)

I primarily use a mac, which generates annoying invisible metadata files on drives. In the case of psnes, my rom list includes ._ (dot-dash) duplicates of my rom files (attached image). Is it possible to get a command in the psnes menu to hide these from view?

No that I’ve seen on pSNES.. If you have an android device maybe you can transfer the files over to it first and use some sort of file manager to transfer the roms to their respective folders..? Just a thought, might work..!

thanks for the info, i'll try without the tv and keep an eye out for sx os updates then

Just downloaded the lastest version. But neither the left JoyCon nor the Pro Controller are working. I only can use the right JoyCon. Is this a bug or something?

have a sort of bug. while using single joycons as 2 controllers + and - doesnt bring up the menu. also, the - doesnt work as start in that mode. so some things are unplayable
