PSN Pass coming soon.

This doesn't actually make me diss Sony though.

I get a PS3 for HD games tbh. I want a 360 cuz most of my friends have them.
I'd gladly sell my PS3 for a Vita though, as I'm very seldom at home.

So they're leaving used buyers in the dust.
Damn I do not wanna be paying no $60 for a game I might trade in later after it's done.

Man, this is bullshit. If we buy a game, we buy EVERYTHING that comes with the game; singleplayer, multiplayer (offline and online)

It doesn't matter if we buy it second hand. Just because we get a game used, our experience online/offline shouldn't be second hand too. This is'nt smoking, damn it

Technically if you buy the game you get all this, provided you buy it new. It's a way for companies to make some profit over used game sales, same with DLC.

I still find this better than the "single save file" bullshit. At least with this you can buy a new online pass, you can't buy a new save file.

Also, I would laugh quite hard if companies kept up this trend of "single save file" on 3DS games, for instance, and then essentially sell you a new save file somehow. That'd be priceless.

not anymore when anyone buy a game brand new sealed you are only getting 50% of the game, the other 50% is dlc add on top of that the online pass if you buy second hand that make it a very expensive game!

Yea, Disgaea was 30$ used, then add 50$ for the DLC and I had a 80$ game. If I would have bought the game new it would have been 50$ for the game. That's 100$ for one complete game. That doesn't include the Angle Class that I'd have to unlock while online. An online that it looks like could be another 10$ in future titles when buying used. That's the reason I hacked my PS3. At 100$ a game, it's just not worth it.

P.S. This has nothing to do with the piracy of games on the PS3 as CFW can't go online in the first place. This is an attack on legitimate used game sales. So no blaming the pirates please.

This is just ridiculous. But not nearly as much as undeletable games saves like on certain 3DS games (or so I've heard). This bullshit may very well be discouraging used game sales, but it certainly isn't encouraging actual sales of the games either. There are many that can and will acquire these games by other means, one way or another.

Just have patience, and the 3DS will be hacked. Then the shitstorm will commence.

For the ds there was rudulph's ds backup 3in+ tool that let you wipe the save data, hope someone can make one for the 3ds, also if people aren't buying used games no more, then wouldn't that make new games cheaper?

More like if the second hand market is dead, then they can charge what ever they want as no one is competing against them. Also, if a game goes out of print, it sucks to be you if you discover a game later in the series and what to catch up with games that are no longer in print. Of course they might start online distribution which if Steam is any example means the price never drops. Enjoy the brave new world. I'll wait for a flashcart.

stupid system ruin second hand business.. should be a way against piracy without screwing this somehow come on

No, it's a system to ruin piracy online.
Buying used games doesn't support the devs anyway, this way you can. Aren't you happy you can support the devs both ways now?

I know it is against piracy but i usually buy my games second hand from amazon or in my local gamestore shelf (mostly ps3 games)
To can't have online access and having to pay extra 10€ for online codes really add a lot to the price.. gotta count each cent nowadays as much i love to support the devs
