Reports indicate Sony's plans to move away from first-party PC releases

Since the release of the PlayStation 5 all the way back in 2020, Sony's strategy around first party games has shifted. Instead of maintaining a library of games exclusive to their consoles, they opted for a period of exclusivity, typically around two years, with a more widespread PC release following. Though a fantastic move in terms of larger gaming accessibility, it has lead to many avoiding the PlayStation platform altogether, with the lack of truly exclusive games taking away from a lot of the value it previously had. According to a Bloomberg however, this strategy may be about to change.

Sources familiar with Sony's plans have indicated their major single-player titles will be remaining exclusive, with online-focused titles like Marathon still seeing a more widespread release. There is yet to be an official statement from Sony on the topic, with Ghost of Yotei being the latest release that could be impacted by this change.

First off I'm not a buddy, and take what easy!

I'm perfectly fine, just don't like liars and condescending ones at that!

It's call business practices, when you have a fanbase, and are making changes to your business, especially ones that effect your supporters, you make it official.

Every other company does it, and they've done it about every move they've made so far!

And Sony is about Face, in Japan that means their reputation, for those that are too slow to understand that!

Sony has always been big on their transparency when it comes to PlayStation ecosystem, and if this was true, they would have announced it, themselves.

Not a b.s. from sources person.

Take it from someone who's their own CEO, I know what the heck I'm talking about.
I'm not losing millions of dollars and millions of clients, by making poor business decisions.

They made over 2.37 Billion Dollars in PC sales, 1.5 Billion on Steam alone.

Who in their right mind, would just randomly turn away from that.

And let some secret source make the announcement of ending that!
Sounds like pure copium to me.
The reason I told you to take it easy is because you seem delusional to dismiss it as "rumors".
Jason Schreier has a good track record covering stories and insiders. Fact will hit you over your head sooner or later.

Also to address your stupid remark regarding "buddy", any English speaker would understand it as "chill the fuck out".

I'M OUT.
